European Patent Office to Grant SporeGen’s Patent Application for THY-X-CISE® Technology

SporeGen is pleased to announce it has been granted a European patent (EP3704243) to protect its novel THY-X-CISE® cloning system. This innovative system enables the construction of Bacillus GMOs that are unable to proliferate in the environment. Long-term this system has utility for advancing the use of bacterial spores and supports SporeGen’s current work with mucosal vaccines, animal vaccines, bioremediation and methane reduction.
The patent will strengthen SporeGen’s THY-X-CISE® technology, further enhancing the company’s patent portfolio.
